Just bought myself a mk6 Escort van and under the passenger seat I found a Ford CD player as well as a tape version. Its already fitted with a tape player and would love to use the CD player obviously, however alongside the fact that it may not work hence being sat there would I have to go to Ford to get the code for it?

 

What model of CD player?

 

Im sure its a CD6000 or 6000CD. I'll have to clarify soon but i'm certain thats what it is after looking through Google Images.
