The new owner of my RS500 BLEW it up at Santa Pod!!!!!!
I have heard through the grapevine that the new owner of my RS500 took it down Santa Pod yesterday and it went bang.
By all accounts the Diff shot it's bolt!
I'd love to know who the new owner is....... as he obviously needs a brain transfusion running 500bhp with a standard diff on a standing start!
I have a suspicious feeling this car will not stay mint for too much longer!

It was the diff apparently...... the engine was as solid as a rock.

In a way I suppose it's not nice..... but his car etc now.
I would of NEVER had that repair bill, since I would of ensured the appropriate diff was in place before attempting anything like that.

I like things to be used - wish i had my own car to abuse - dont get me wrong dont want him to scratch it in anyway but giving it a good doing is what its all about

I never took the RS500 down spod..... hence the joke factor about the thread to start off with!
Why the rolleyes..... I can't expect a bean tin owner to fully appreciate the emotional turmoil an RS500 owner would be experiencing while reading this thread I suppose!

it needs a new diff, thanks for letting us know, im underwhelmed.
glad he is using it and not just being a window licking tosser who only brings it out of the garage to polish it or photograph it.
