Default sierra rotating spit

hey guys,

i'm planning to make a rotating spit for my sierra, so i can do the welding on the lower end like it should and such. i measured it, and it just fits in my dads garage, but, i can fit the front rotating thingie on the front of the bumper location holes at front, but on the rear, do i need to do the same? is it in line enought to make sure it doesnt stress a lot?

and how about fitting wheels on both sides, so a can get it outside for brushing the bottom and such? ive seen only little escorts and such on a spit, so anyone did a sierra?

last one, if i remove engine, axles and tank, and front and rear seats and carpet, how much wil a "bare" sierra shell weigh? i need to find me some box steel, and it would be a waste if i use steel for a sierra at 1140 kilo's while its bare shell might be 800 kilos? so, anyone knows this?

maybe pictures of a sierra on a spit, and how the braces are fitted?
