as title really, ive got a mint 4i and i cant sell it. ive also got a xr4x4 with a boa that is a bit rotten. i like the 4x4 fairly quick but i wonder if its too much work to fit the boa into the 4i. ive got all the 2wd running gear almost, just pedal box and adj tca's to buy.

All good, I'd say, made a 24v xr4x4 myself, was quick and reliable, as that's quite a decent, reliable and cheep engine.
Can fit all the rear set up to the 4i too, so discs and LSD.

I say if you have everything do it! But if you go to expense of buying adjustable rear beam etc. the build price will go up and then it's an expensive car, but looking at the parts you have I'd just throw them on and have a nice fun car that hasn't cost the earth

try with the springs as they had about 18 different springs listed for the sierra as the v6 doesn't weigh as much as the 4x4 v6 and then you had air con and left and right hand drive configurations
the ride was the same height but obviously if you have more weight the spring rates are higher to compensate for the original weight, so if you bolt in some cossie springs with the same rate, they drop the suspension by 2 inches because you have more base weight on them
i found that koni had them spot on years ago so maybe a good point to start
