Default Ford chassis number help please!!!!

Been looking at a focus Rs for a friend and in the chassis number in the car is a 5 and on log book is S. ie WF0BXXGCDB#5#### on car and WF0BXXGCDB#S####. #= other numbers.
On hpi says possible import ? Any ideas? Could it be a typing issues?

Probably one of the DVLA's infamous typo's, especially if nothing is flagging up on HPI.
Do an MOT history check.

Most likely to be a 5 not an S, the last string on a Ford chassis number is always numbers not letters. I think DVLA are more likely to fuck it up than Ford.

Mine has 2 digits wrong in the log book, ie 5 typed as an 'S' 0 as an 'O' and engine number as LV when it's LU on the block and vin plate

I did enquire about it and they said it would be noted on the log book as a change if I corrected it.

No way I'm having that on the logbook because of there mistake so I'll leave it as it's far easier to see the typical typo error
