Default Esc Cos TCA's .. std or adj?

Just stripped down my front brakes, hubs, driveshafts, ARB and front cradle with P/S set up

the TCA's on the end, the rubber boot that is around the pinch bolt has split slightly on each one..

is it worth getting new adjustable ones? or shall i just stick to std

if so for each... who is the best to get these from? Std ford? oh and how much?

cheers

D

is your car lowered much on the front?

are you going to be doing a couple of track days in it?

if the answer to either is yes,,, get adjustable ones,, zoo, racetek,,,

Dave, go for the adjustables.

You may aswell with the rest of your set up.

Rally design may be your best bet as there only 15 minutes from you, they normally keep them in stock as either rosejointed or rubber bushed inners

Well, they are rose jointed and the whole car has been set up as a package with the beam. It has also been corner wieghted so as part of the package they are very effective.

Dave just as an aside.. (cos i reckon you'll be getting adjustables the way this is going ) if it's only the rubbers that are damaged, and the joints are ok, don't buy new arms - just buy a pair of the cheapest balljoints you can find in the Factors (like cavalier for example), use the rubbers and chuck the rest in the bin

curious... they are usually held on to the balljoint housing by either a metal 2-turn wire ring (bit like a keyring but thinner) or a stout rubber band
Are you saying you can't remove the boot from the balljoint on yours Dave?? I'd be interested to see a pic when you next go down there if that's the case, as I've never seen them without the clips..
