Default Uneven Tyre Wear

Have just noticed that on my Mk3 Mondeo I have uneven tyre wear, I had new tyres middle of last year and had the tracking done too, just removed the front wheels to changed the front brakes and noticed the passenger side tyre is already on the wear indicators but only in the middle of the trye the drivers side tyre still has loads of wear left on it

Anyone got any idea's has to why

Could be many things from bad tracking, it's best to get all four wheels tracked, to worn bushes. I would get the tracking looked at again first.

If its gone in the middle of the tread then its had too much pressure in it. Like wise if its the two outer edges its down to too little pressure. This is part of the reason why you should periodically check your pressures.

I had all 4 wheels tracked, and also as I do over 600 miles a week I check the pressures atleast every 2 weeks and put same amount in both front tyres

Wear in center of tread is due to over inflation both edges is under inflation and if you have wear on both outside or inside its due to tracking

That's probily ya answer, I'd say you got one of ya front wheels out of line and scrubbing the centre, cos there budgets there only a soft material so there wear faster, also are the tyres on alloys or steels as some budgets don't have a wall measurement mailing the tyre have a more rounded crown
