Default Gmax shocks

Has anyone tried them.I bought some lowering springs for the mk2 mondeo estate 50mm on the front and 40mm on the rear. The rear looks spot on but the front looks more or less the same. And they are the zetec springs for the car.

A shock would have no effect on ride height. Gmax shocks are pretty budget, ok for road use but don't expect much else!

I thought the gmax shock had a shorter piston rod pulling the spring down

Because they're shit! lol
I tried a set many years ago and the front was ok but the back sat so low the wheels almost couldnt turn they were so close to the inner arch!
Binned them and went Spax, funnily enough the car then sat perfectly level!
