Default Replacing fuel lines on saph...

Right my saph fuel lines have seen far better days when I got car there were sections that have been replaced with fuel hose (1ft) here and there, now Im about too fit my BOA engine and have to alter fuel lines anyway so want to just replace for new.
My question is whats best to use as a replacement copper or braided fuel lines?? and what diameter?

Cheers WES

I did my hole fuel system in braided tank to rail then back to tank all aero quipped had my rail and tank modded with fittings as well so not one hose clip
For me it's better this way as it looks better plus my lines are Teflon stainless braided so will last far longer than i will lol

All depends what your after Teflon braided is best but you can only use it with fittings!
There a few ways of doing it I just took that route as its easy and looks good you can replace the steel pipe or use copper plus there is rubber braided

imo i think there would be very little life diffrence from braided to copper , copper would be cheaper and do the same job but braided looks cool

Try googling it lol the life span of Teflon hose is unlimited! If steel or copper was the same he would not be needing to change it

Look at my sapphire build thread, I wanted my car near to original and remade all steel lines. I then aeroquip per each end but you could have it the correct size for your original push on pipes

that is the biggest factor at the end of the day and they all do the same job lol
I only went for the Teflon so I could use fitting over hose clips but is not as costly as people think!
I had my rail and tank modded for fittings made a fuel cradle got a new reg then a few fittings at a time and the hose I needed all in less than 400 with the reg costing the most

just had a little read about the two and some people are finding problems with the teflon but this happens with everything , one guy recons copper will last 20 to 30 years lol dont know how right that is , end of the day its down to choice and what look you want

got it in one as i cant see how they would have problems , they said it gave them problems when the lines were dry for a bit then when used agein thats when they had problems , but in the real world they will always have fuel in them so no idea what some people are upto lol

Also eeason i was thinking copper like original(original was steel but you get what i mean) is because i want the least amount of fixings/fittings/clips or connections as possible

Wes im using 10mm aluminium black powder coated fuel lines from james listers motorsport you can use flexi pipe pushed on with O clips or flare the ends and use an-6 fittings where you want to

Its £9 + vat so about £11 for 4 metres

Thought aluminium would rot and corrode from petrol, was in burton powers last wednesday they quoted me £25 inc vat for copper lines and connectors. Just bought a abs servo and master cylinder with pumps and ordered a braided loom adaptor that does away with with abs ecu and sensors which are £140 each
