How funny (Sebastian Loeb in the rally)
Just on Eurosport! He had suspension damage and had to make 2 stages before the next service point with one of his back wheels hanging off. Anyway, eventually the wheel smashed to bits and he was on 3 wheels with the navi hanging out of the window trying to help the balance.
But this was on the public road section driving to the next stage (with all the public using the road) and the police pulled him for damaging the road and having a guy hanging out the window

Anyway, see how they gave him a Police Escort. In the past the UKs traffic coppers have made arses of themselves. First with Tommi in 98 and then Marcus in 03 (IIRC) and then catching some of the best drivers in the world speeding

one got pulled with a worn tyre "fooking joke "rally driver

It is the Rally Mexico at the moment, so it was the Mexican Police that pulled him 
After the copper used his camera phone to send pics back to HQ he got a police escort to the service
