i got rid of mine last summer and ivenot regretted it at all..ive had more fun in its replacement than i had in the cossie in years.. my little clio 182 is awesome fun and although not trouble free i dont shit myself at the thought of the gearbox melting and costing me thousands like i did with the cossie..

this is only my opinion, but the people who dont regret selling them tend to be the people who've spent too much time & money on it. Constantly building it to the "best" spec possible, the car spends too much time off the road

whereas other people (like me) used mine all the time, kicked its head in (only stage 3 370hp'ish) everytime it went out, didnt really care that the paint work wasnt perfect - i regret selling mine

Think you are spot on. Wont be regretting mine when it sells its already on borrowed time. Mind you i would not wish to drive around in it as a daily car now its far to old hat, prefer mine off the road less trouble that way .

mine was very reliable, never anything serious went wrong with it, i only sold it as i was worried about it going missing on my drive constantly. keep it at a reasonable level and drive it hard!

Mines never been un reliable in the 11 years I've owned it and was my every day car as standard then with 350bhp and for a while with 500
I did bust the normal bits like gearbox and diff but that's just the norm with a tuned car really! In general it's been very good. I hear far more horror story's with skylines and subarus most un reliable cossies are just poorly tuned or not looked after!

I had a minty mint saff but didn't use it, replaced it with my frs. Sometimes look back and would like another but the focus is a better drivers car.

to many shitters james for drug money ! theres no point in buying one that needs another 5 k spent on it to be worth 5 k at the end so it might mean a bit more saving to get a good 3 door

So true Pete - been a great weekend weather wise to be out and about - went to the shops in mine, took the lads to football, had a little drive in the sun...... all the stuff I'd do in any performance car. Nothing difficult about it

Nothing gets into your system like a Cossie does

There is just something about them that, regardless of what else is on the road, makes you feel that "I'd dust him, I'd give him a run for his money, bet he won't expect me sitting in his bumper" etc

Proper hooligan motoring at its best, but jay is right, they are as temperemtnal as a lady on the blob and while you enjoy the good times, you are always worrying about what's going to go wrong down the road

I could never buy another one unless I won the lottery, but the craving is still there
