After a bit of help with mtx75 gear cables, I have focus rs gear cables and linkage but they dont line upwith the bracket on the gearbox that they clipin to, are there diffrent cable and brackets for diffrent year focus's?

 

sounds like you have the wrong bracket on the gearbox that holds the cables.
there are two types of gear selector on the cable shift mtx both with there own bracket.
cables are the same on both.

 

Ah i see. Did think the bracket was wrong but its the one that came with the box. So for it to work i just need a new gear stick assembly that has the same box setup as mine?

Also seen that there are two styles of linkage on gearbox.one style cables go on side and the other style one goes on top and one on side,
