they show you want you can do with the cars rather than just going out for a blast

it's more about getting the most from the car in the corners rather than hooning about like a maniac, and they do an off road course at silverstone too which is a bit of an eye opener for sure

My brother did a Porsche day at Silvertone as part of a prize through work. He said it was ok. All he told me was that he was taken out by an instructor on a section of track. Then he drove a little himself at a reasonable pace, then went on a skid pan which he said was good fun. Vicky Butler Henderson was knocking about too. She was doing something with the Panamera that day, but there was no camera crew with her. The thing he commented on most was the quality feel of the car. He's driven faster, but said he'd love a Porsche one day. I don't recall which model it was. He didn't pay for it remember. Free stuff is always better.

can't remember who it was as i'm not really into my touring cars now

they had a whole load of old school porches there and they took pics of him as he was sitting in front of me in their restaurant while i was trying different teas and cakes

Youtube is your friend here. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. You experience about 70% of the car's capability.

To be fair if you look at at Porsche specialist/tuner they ALL have to spell it incorrect as Porsche send a lovely legal letter reminding them they do not have the rights to use the word Porsche in there name unless they give permission

It's a decker trying to look them up at work unless you can't spell

Well the drive went pretty well basically good fun but a little dissapointing. After the brief and been driven around the track in an alfa to show you brakeing points etc i ended up with 6 laps of driving and the track is only about 1 mile long:-(
The instructor was good to be fair and after a couple of laps just let me go for it.
But i felt like it was just a tease as obviously first couple of laps you work the car out breaking and turning points etc then just as you get into it they say right thats it :-(
Just needed to last longer but overall not bad.
