Cmax thermostat
I have a mk1 cmax 1.8. Same lump as the focus and mondeo
My thermostat has one and I have got a new one from fords but its in a awkward position. Looks to be under the power steering pump and can't gain access to it. Has anyone ever swapped one?
Not sure if its just headlight out and get to it or if I need to remove the inlet manifold as well. Any help would be great fully received.
I did ask on the cmax forum but as it only has about 4 members I got a swift sod all.

All done thanks to cosnada pointing me in the right direction.
Fiddley job but not difficult. The ford pipe clips were the hardest part without the right tool.
Car now reaches temp and holds. Misses is now happy.
