Default Big Thanks to Newcastle Council for their victimisation of local business

I would like to thank Newcastle council who today decided to call in The DVLA to remove cars from my yard that weren't taxed or sorned

From your yard? Is this not classed as theft? although they probably should have been SORNE'd?

very hard in the motor trade to know if all the cars in your custody or control are sorned

Just goes to show what a shit hole we live in IMO
Push a car out of the garage that isn't sorned or taxed and they can have it away
Yes it was my yard
the dvla guy was ok with the cars outside the front of the workshop just the ones to the side in my yard These were the ones the council had called him in for
They aren't my cars only the one was

sorry to hear dude but rules are rules - could you say the others were track cars that were never going to see the road again (like a lot of project cars ) and as such were awaiting prep/modification?

what sort of condition were the cars in? tbh if they looked like scrappers all smashed up and in bits I can kinda understand it as tbh it may well be NIMBY'ism but I'd rather not have a load of shitters next to my building if I were trying to promote a business on the same estate. On the other hand if they were perfectly fine cars just there for work then it's a bit harsh but again, I couldn't leave a non-SORN'd car outside my gaff so why should it be any different?

Sorry Tony, it seems you've maybe been made an example of but the law is the law.

If its not on the road i can't see how they can do it.

The amount of cars that must be in people's yards and lock ups not Sorned must run into the 1000s

We blocked the DVLA in and they called the police who were most useless

dvla stopped clamping cars outside my workshop after coming back 16 times to find both no clamp and no car and me denying all knowledge of aforementioned cars and clamps lol
one of the dvla guys tried telling me they knew the clamps were still on the same street as they have gps on them, made me laugh as they were all in a renault scenic i had weighed in at scrapyard lol

Regardless if they come on your property it is tresspass and i would use force to remove them! Put up clamping signs when they come in your yard ask them to leave, no leave block cunts in and clamp there motor teach the cunts a lesson

It appears I will have to erect an unsightly fence to prevent the thieving dvla and council from stealing and trespass on my land

as soon as you see the clamp on the car tricky just cut it off and move the car they wont do fuck all, its been a running joke with me for 3 years now and the dvla are starting to give up now, must be costing them a fortune in clamps lol

its not that simple though mat, i have write offs in for repair that can be there for a couple of weeks, it is impossible for me to tax or sorn them as they are write offs so 99% of the time either the logbook has been surrendered to the insurance or they are not yet in a fit state to be mot'd or taxed until they are roadworthy

easier said than done for the motor trade as technically they can't sorn a trade registered car
It's purely another tax all they wanted was some money from us and off they all went Ł260 per car and off they went
IMO they are exploiting a loop hole in their own shite legislation which will in time be corrected with no refunds given

another thing that pissed me off was talking to one of the dvla officers was, i said to him, tell you what mate if you can give me something that i pay for but can leave in untaxed vehicles that are being worked on that i can leave inside the car for you to see then i will buy them whatever the cost as it saves a lot of hassle for me.
he said get some trade plates
i said but i cant park a untaxed car on trade plates anywhere except private property, he didnt have an answer for me?!!
i can understand untaxed therefore uninsured cars being parked on the street outside residential houses being a problem but untaxed and fully insured regardless of tax (due to my traders policy)vehicles outside my garage that only move in and out of my garage are not in my opinion a problem to anyone

ive tried and better tried mat they just come out with if it aint taxed it needs to be inside which doesnt work for a small business like mine, i rolled over first time they came and went out and taxed 8 cars, that meant no wages for me and my partner for 2 months, if i had to keep dong that it would be pointless being in business so would have to go on dole!

Botters according to the plod I had round today and the dvla money grabber trade plates don't cover it either
I feel properly sodamised and arse raped
One of the cars was a car sales car that was in for repair
The car was fine at the traders premises according to MR dvla untill such time as it was parked in my yard awaiting repair
He could now pounce on it with the help of the council grass you up officers
Secure Ugly fencing going up monday come tuesday the yard will be full of untaxed un sorned cars for MR council grasser hole to seeth over as he can then do fuck all
Alternatively we may fill it full of old caravans and pikey's lol

thats what i mean mate the dvla guy told me to get trade plates and it was me that had to explain to him that they dont cover!
i if they had a system in place to cover garage owners like us i would happily pay for it just like i happily pay for trade plates, the problem is there is nothing! its ridiculous
