Default Battery charging time.

The misses had to jump start her car earlier because the battery was very low. Once we'd got it going again i told her to take it for a decent drive to charge it up a bit as we only do fairly short journeys. How far do you have to go to give a drained battery a good charge or how long should the engine run for?
We ended up doing about 25 miles and had the engine running for about 35-40 minutes.

Default

A long time, remember normally you are only partically recharging, where as you have got to charge a flat battery, it will appear charged now but I doubt it's fully charged.

It's impossible to say as it depends on a few factors, charging rate, state of battery etc, but as a rule 24 hours on a charger, although the charging system has a higher output than that of a charger.
