friend at work is looking at a c-max 2.0 diesel titanium with 40k miles. looks really nice satnav,bluetooth, ipod thing, half leather etc.
anyone know of any faults to look for apart from the obvious crash damage and taxi reminders?

my dads got a 2.0 titanium petrol c max cracking motor had it four years and no problems at all.

Dual mass and DPF are 2 to watch for.

yeah, hes staying away from dpf. dual mass issues on all cars, so its something he'll have to risk.

My misses has 2.0 diesel had no mechanical issues great for the kids good pulling power although I'd avoid ones with electronic handbrake heard there expensive when they go wrong

Weve got a 57 plate 1.8 petrol style with the panoramic glass roof..

Good motor tho, had it 2 years now bought it with 8k on it ands now just turned 25k. They are heavy on front tyes tho, we put a set on the front oct 2011 and they are low again, probably done 10k on them. Stil got another few k in them i reckon tho.
