mk 6 or 7.I got mk 7 1.6 tdci and it sound no probs after three years.

I have a 1.6 TDCI i love it, but a firend has the 1.4TDCI its horrible to drive, its like setting off in 3rd in mine... He loved it till he drove mine.
The 1.6 has a lot more poke.

Iv still got mine from 2010, only thing needed doing on it is injector seals. If it stinks of stale diesel on the inside they need doing. Max cost about £250 from a local garage

They are great cars mate, mine has AC which all works perfectly and its so cheap to run with the road tax and great mpg
