If it wasnt for....
.....the price tag.....I'd seriously be treating myself to this old beast - its at a garage round the corner from me!!! 
Its absolutely MINT in everyway - inside & out - I've got a feeling it aint standard either - full stainless underneath it & I spied an alloy intercooler through the front grill!!!

Good value at 10 k, but I'm sure it's not one of the
short-wheel-base models, as those are still fetching
very good money like Ł 38 - 48 k for the genuine
factory build ones
Then, for less than half that price there are the
Dialynx built versions .....................
These are based on a standard Quattro that is
shortened, and then the correct
wings/bonnet/bumper and styling bits added to
make them look very much like the real thing

did they ever make swb ones in left hand drive?
i new were a supposedly swb modelwas lying in someones garden looking the worse for wear.but i reckon it may have been one of the dialynx ones doug is talking about.coz if it aint the cars worth more than his house

were Left Hand Drive........
IIRC they only had to build a small number for homolagation
purposes (50 ? or 200 ?)....and because the UK RHD market
would hardly have been big enough to warrent a RHD version
as well as LHD tooling

to common want somthing different, if i bought a cossie id be driving thinking yeah ive got a cossie but the id see the other 4 
just dont seem very special any more where as the audi quattro doesnt stand out as much and theres not as many about
