Default 2wd cosworth steering coupling??

After some help please guys. I need a new steering coupling for the car. I have a power flex item that I fitted a couple of years ago. During the strip down I've noticed it has nearly cracked in half!!

I remember a post a while back now but nothing comes up in the search.

Does anybody know where I can get a standard one from?

Thanks

I also used a landrover discovery one, just swapped the bush over. Used high tensile bolts and a tack weld on the nut so it doesn't undo been ok for quite a few years.

I bought one of the Landrover ones, and in the process of taking it apart for the rubber bush this happened

Rather annoyed as it has split through the moulding as if it was not moulded very well.
Just on the top (or bottom) half, so not all the way through the bush.
Has put me off putting it on the car TBH, and i can't really send it back as i have mutilated the complete part to get the bush out.

.

I'm really surprised that no one like Vibratech does a replacement bush, there must be a market for them.

Fit a billet one. High powered Nissan skylines (r32)and silvias(s13) run them with no worries.

Is the rubber bush just there to dampen the shocks coming through to the steering wheel ?
Or for some engineering reason within the steering system ?

Anyone know........
