And yes they defo still get attention, took mine for mot last week and everyone looks! young people look wondering what it is, middle age people look cos they know what it is and old people just look digusted!! lol

Your falling behide my friend the young ones are brought up on elec cars my local college helps them design and build little ejec car thing and the local track has elec only track days! We'l be like dinosaurs in a few years lol

Took my 3 Door out the other day.
Went to the petrol station, as I pulled up a guy also pulled up and commented "nice car mate, dont see many of them these days", I went in and paid then another car pulled up, guy got out and said almost the same again.
I drove away quite happy with the comments

Anyone one that says a powerful Cossie isn't a fast car has never been in one! Lol!
Never forgot being in my brothers black 3 dr when he sank the boot down. Never came up behind someone in the outside lane so fast in ma life!. Thought we were gony ram the guy up the arse!. The guy must of shat himself looking in his mirror, I know I did!. Lol.

yes young man this is a cosworth and i have no idea what bhp it is because the headgaskets gone and its on 3 cylinders at the minute .i think its down to the noisey valve .
James k 'ok young n, here's the engine'

i lift the bonnet ,because i dont have a hood as i am, circumcised

i placed the battery in the boot because everytime i looked under the bonnet it turned my stomach ,like bmw did

3 doors and Escorts will grab more attention than a saph but thats the point and reason Ford got it spot on in my eyes.
Saphs are nice and subtle to the average person but still stick out a mile if you know them . The amount of youth that never notice mine is fantastic i love it missing their radar ect .

I must say I got brought up on muscle cars which are my passion but I don't have the crazy money needed for a mint one! The reason I got into Evo's is because I like trackdays and a bit of drag action and for the money I couldn't find anything with the performance and handling to match them

I’ve never been able to wash my Saph without being stopped by random strangers who want to talk about it.
The best head turning moment was when a postman smacked into a lamp post because he was to busy looking at the car.
Starting the car also seems to do the trick too.
