im looking at changing my setup, and was thinking of a t34.55 from TT.
will these flow enough for a genuine 400bhp??,
probably run greys or siemiens 83lbs.

Mine made 407bhp and 412ftlb on two separate dyno's with proof and witnesses ... But I am wringing the life out of a Maram shafted turbo.. Here's a 400bhp run which was the third attempt.... Car very very hot.
Look at all the other cars making what they should really..!

i asked a question about IF!! 400 could be possible on a .55, as SCS did a couple of .48 @ 380bhp. and why would i make up figures when there easy to achieve. and why would i not put it on a dyno??

I've personally never seen one make 400 and I've been to lots of Dyno days with Cossies on T34 setups with various Specs etc.
Personally I wouldn't worry about what number it makes, I'd be looking at how nice it will behave and drive on the road, run it at a sensible boost and enjoy it, they're great at 360-380bhp with similar torque tbh, really enjoyed mine at this power.

What matters the most is that it drives nicely on the road, whatever the power, tbh, I enjoyed my Sapph the most when it was around 380 on a T38, if it were me I would look at a .63 housing and then you're not gonna be ringing it's neck so much.

You probably would make 400 but you will have to run 2.3 bar boost or just max the 3 bar map sensor but the turbo won't last long if driven hard, just put a larger turbo on and run lest boost ,less strain on your engine ,or have a solid 350 ,360 hp with what you have will still be fun

There is no point in talking about peak boost pressure figures it is irrelevant. You need to know the boost at peak power, generally 6-6500rpm
400bhp is most deffinately possible but it is absolutely wringing a t34s neck.
Back in the day a lairy inlet cam, ported head and blues would do over 400bhp but turbos last from a few weeks to a few months. Hence after fitting in the car customers would have the boost a touch lower and run 380ish in the car.
Mike rainbirds .48 did 38*bhp (can't remember exact) on greens.... And did 172 mph at brunters, no dodgy figures with proof!
So there's your answer H15 FSC and with the right engine spec boost would be 2bar held and turbo speed insane

i plan to run the t34 .63 turbo , greys, cams (bd14bd8) , valve cuts outs, 4x4 inlet/exhaust and a 380bhp msd off the shelf chip and well hope to see power of around 380bhp ish (needless to say lol) and i hope it will be safe as its a road car and it wont be driven hard all the time
