Default Focus c max quick question

Got one while my car is being MOT'd etc tomorrow morning, my question is I've just come home turned all the lights off got out, shut the door and locked it but I see the green backlight for the clock and also the mileage/trip is still on? I wasn't prepared to stand outside in minus 2 conditions waiting to see if this goes off? Surely it doesn't stay on, I'm guessing it will go off after a few minutes?

Didn't want to come out at 7:15am to a flat battery

It'll go off after a few minutes.
