I think some fit in into the top hose? I wouldn't have thought you would fit it in the block tbh.

Im almost certain on my old car we took a core plug out block and fitted it

If its water then top hose from thermostat housingbuy a t piece like this one from burtonpower (

obviously you can get it from most good motor factors
