Has anyone tried fitting the Jaguar X Type 4x4 manual gearbox to an St170 engine?
Also fitting the rear propshaft, diff etc to make a 4x4 Mondeo or Focus.
I know the Jag Gearbox is essentially an MTX and the rear diff etc are pretty much the same as the MK3 Mondeo estate.
However the Jag obviously has a V6 engine as opposed to a Zetec.

Its difficult to find a MK1 4x4 Mondeo, particularly with lowish mileage, but there are loads of Jags with sensible miles, that's what made me think of the Jag option.
