agreed, theres RS's out there which have had a hell of a lot more work done on them than yours!!

Your car is mainly solid, it has loads of expensive parts on it, and is therefore worth getting repaired and repaired well.

noone thinks its a pile of shit as it is now!! it just needs a bit of work!!

Would that not be the same with any S2 though?

surely if u get it repaired to a good standard it should be ok? maybe even soften up that suspension a little?

well if you leave it set up as it is then maybe, although if its a good and strong repair job i would say its doubtful?

although im no mechanic.

there are no guarantees with these sorts of cars, your best bet is to try and investigate as to why this happened in the first place ie is it down to the punishing suspension being too stiff, if so put different springs on.

if its just down to general wear and tear/corrosion not much you can do about that but a decent repair will fix it!!

oh.... and Waxoyl it like your life depended on it when shes all repaired!!

FFS Jim lad! Are you or your Bro handy with a spanner? If you are, or know someone who is, why not break the car?

There's got to be 3700 in parts there m8! The engine, 225bhp IIRC, there's 1500. Intercooler, wheels, kit, interior, cage, gearbox, all worth money.

Course it will help him.!!! Next time he will look at the car better...at the things that matter... not how shiney some bits are
Yes its my fault for not looking under the car i should of asked the owner to lift the car up, WHOOPSY my mistake

That is the most sensible thing you have said all day! Unless of course you were being sarcastic....in which case if you actually DIDNT raise a 19yr old car and have a good look/prob around underneath then you deserve all you get
