Hi all , new member . I have a modified combi mk4 van and is currently running an xr3i engine . Thinkin of zetec ing her as cant afford an rs conversion even though she is screamin out for one ? . Could anyone let me know if the engine mounts are the same etc , i know i can get a cvh efi plate for the zetec manifold and also are the drive shafts off my mk4 ok to go on the zetec . I think you have to lift the engine mount up on the inner wing for it to bolt in, but dont hold me to it

 

your drive shafts will be ok as you can use the current gearbox you've got with the zetec engine and you can adapt the cvh engine mount to work on the zetec engine
