MC Rallying!! Would you believe it!
Just having a good old search for Escort WRC front bumpers and rear spoilers... cam across a few chavvy bodykit places and decided to have a look..
mc rallying listed a 'genuine esc cos fit' wrc bumper
I give them a call and woe and behold, its an exact mould of the genuine WRC bumper including the homologation serial numbers!
Includes all mountings and frames, air ducts and spash guards
Ok so its about £500 for the front and £350 for the rear but these really arent shitty Mk5 escort bolt ons! had a good chat with the bloke and he used to supply all the major rally teams etc. He did say that so much of his business is for crappy sheds that no one really realises he does this kind of gear
Its all to order and they have to make them from scratch which takes a few weeks, but what a result!

Tony, ive already been there... ive also bought a set of front wings
the fit is for a rally car.. ie: very poor
the front bumper also has no fittings whereas this comes all ready to strap on!
Rich... 'innit!' i purposely expressed that it was to have no raised letters on the lower right side.. he just laughed

Had some MC stuff with varying quality....I can get em, fronts £300 in glass fibre....rear spoilers £200 in glassfibre...a bit cheaper....Ive run genuine kelvar carbon versions from boreham and copies...in rallying all the fronts smash....we now just run Fiberglass front and rear....the fronts dont just bolt onto the original brackets...they require brackets making.....

its been a while dave since we had any mc stuff....last items we got off them were the twin headlights for esc cos.....they were a poor fit and we sent them back...I have to say we have never actually run their front wrc bumpers and rear spoilers we have sourced from the supplier to M.T.D. and M-Sport when they both ran esc's.....as far as I was aware boreham etc used several companies(not sure if MC were 1) as suppliers of glass panels....the guy i deal with is in Darlington and makes for a lot of rallycross prep boys as well....
So in answer to the question 'no'
Regards
Ian
do you want to see a pic of the latest one we received a couple of weeks ago?

If I was going to order it, I would buy it through a company that deals with them on a regular basis, and if you were not entirely happy with the quality, it could be sent back and refunded.
Alot of their stuff is shonky, but they use alot of other companies to make stuff, but their own items are generally not that bad.
I know for a fact that Mike R has had stuff off of them before and I think he thought it was good

Dave,
Not had chance to take a pic of the bumper I have in the workshop at the mo...I've had the boreham versions of these bumpers and never had a fitting kit....all we use is a piece of nylon bar turned and tapped m10 on each end...then a small bracket in the middle to support the bumper.....the pics above show the differences between all the manufacturers ford used....they will all have carried the same 9096728 part no.
Here is a pic of one of our cars with one fitted....as they get more damaged you cut more off the bottom....this bumper came off a car driven by Thiry and was a carbon mix version...

Well I had some some MCR sideskirts on my Cav (cos I was ace) and frankly the quality was so poor I wouldn't wipe my arse with them.
Hope they turn up OK and they aren't blowing hot air up your ass.
