Bad circulation or moisture in the car (usually the boot when it comes to Fords)

Check windows are nice and clean, dirty glass just attracts condensation. Make sure when driving the car you keep the fan on a slow speed with face vents open to keep air moving. Have a check round to see if there's any wet carpets. My focus used to leak through the boot, fixed it by adjusting the boot catch so it shuts down a bit tighter.

make sure your heaters are not set on recirculate, as all that will do is blow the damp air around, couple that up with getting in with wet clothes and you will have issues.

if you have air con, use it that will help dry the air out,

Mk1 focus's really suffer badly with leaking scuttle panels, if it's not sealed properly along the screen, water gets into the pollen filter, then down the chain into the heater motor, then Wet footwells.
I'd use your ac all year round, keep it off re circ mode, and check your pollen filter is clean.

Someone at work had loads of problems with a focus with condensation. Ended up being where the pollen filter was changed at a service and they had made a right mess of trying to fit it. Worth checking it before dismantling everything

Great feedback guys, I will have a full car dig out and a full clean of all windows, I have a idea where it could be as I put a hole in the spare tire holder to run my cable for the rear camera so il'lll just seal that bi*ch up.

Many thanks again

Cant see it been that hole but you never know.

I bought some rain x anti fog.You wipe it on the inside of the windows. Its good but only lasts about 2 weeks if that. Then you have to put more of it on.

once on a mk 2 fiesta I had a lead in the heater matrix about the size of a pin head... steamed up condensation was terrible and was "sticky" or "oily" due to antifreeze! It very rapidly got worse over about 3 days to the extent that the car became a steam room! - new heater matrix in the end!
