Hi all I brought a 307 2.0 hdi non runner. As I'm a mechanic I've tried everything but it does not want to run I noticed central locking don't work and when try to start (turning over but not fueling via injectors) the immobiliser light flashed fast, I hope it's a key programming issue an basically want to know if there's any other cheapish diagnostics hardware I could use instead of the lexia 3? As they only do citoroen and Peugeot's.
thanks dean

look in the fuel filter and make sure its not full of swarf that is the first thing i check on any 307's regardless of lights flashing on the dash as they are shite and disintergrating the diesel pump is just one of the many thousands of known common problems they have

Pump is ok luckily. The reason I got the car was alternator sized and bloke fort engine was I'm surprised it didn't just snap a belt. But now that's replaced I'm just hoping its an ecu program issue.
