Default Escort Mk4 brake upgrade sierra xr4x4 callipers??

There is loads of advice on discs callipers and carriers ect
I found a set of sierra xr4x4 callipers are they good to
Use and what else would I require disc size/spacers ect cheers

you will need about 4mM in spacers! as regards disks use siera 4x4 size disks (I seem to remember 278mM), I managed to warp a set of ford ones and now use Tarrox cross drilled and grooved. They work very well!

I have also had made stainless steel pistons so they don't go rusty and ever seize!

Iirc, they fit straight onto an escort with rs turbo discs. at least they did on my xr3i anyway!

That calliper upgrade was the official ford recommendation from the xr3i rally preparation manual

I'm pretty sure sierra xr4x4 calipers are the same as series 2 escort rs turbo calipers and both use 260mm discs

Bought it a couple month ago mid life crisis but when I was young watching my dad that's all I new anyway won't start from cold any ideas please
