Not got a black car, but WW is the tits, doesn't actually work out too expensive either when you break down the cost vs no. of individual 'cleans' it does. Mark (WW) used to make kits up to suit particular vehicle paint types etc, so I'm sure he could advise - his customer service has always been top notch too.

Mark used to do the kits himself, then did a deal with Swissol (the people who used to manufacture his stuff by hand).
http://www.swissol.com/E/GB/Kontakt.htm
Mark's details don't appear on there anymore so not sure if he's now gone solo again?
http://www.waxwizard.co.uk/contacts.htm (Mark's details, not sure how up to date they are as my kit still has loads of 'life' left in it so not needed to contact him for ages)
Lots of places stock Swissol now, I recommend the Divine wax Westy
http://www.morethanpolish.com/mtp/mtpswiss.asp
Tbh, the individual component parts of a kit are no more expensive than Autoglym, Meguiars etc. (except maybe the waxes, but then they have a comparitively very high content of pure wax....)

FPMSL @ divine Wax.. I'll take 3 please
have sent Mark an email, so hopefully his email addy is still active.
I 100% agree re: customer service. He even met me with the kit he sold to me and showed me how it was done too.. only on one panel tho
Superb quality.. was going to try meguirs as its available in local halfords, but can wait for WW again.. need some more car shampoo

Whatever you choose out of Meguiars / WW, make sure you get the clay bar kit - it might seem like plasticine but it does a fantastic job of preparing the paint for the wax, and like painting, preparation is more than half the job

Yep get the quick detailing spray and quick clay, the spray is great for washing inbetween waxes.
If you want to go all out get some Pinnacle Souveran from the states, this is good on black cars.

Just bought this weeked, all Meguiars...
Clay kit
Clear coat body scrub
NXT Tech Wax
Endurane tyre dressing
2 x 'Terry' Towels
4 'applicators'
Fucking £55 worth but well worth it, can't wait to have a couple of spare days to use it all, my RS has been properly denied a good polish up for 6 months Got a very cool Meguiars cool bag thrown in though, am using it to hold all the above!!

I got given one of those cool bags too, really handy. I use it as a quick detailing bag to take to shows. If you are in Tescos or another supermarket have a look out for some microfibre cleaning cloths. Meguiars will charge you about £5-£10 for one of these but most supermarkets stock a variety of microfibre cloths from 99p upwards. They are great and worth every penny.
Here is my old cleaning collection, most of it isn't used anymore

NXT Wax is so easy to use.
It makes the ST170 look wet but it shines so well.
Apply and leave on for 1hr and buff up.
So quick!!
Pics of my ST are on www.allfords.net
Look under Gallery under Admins ST170
(Scratch X, DC2, NXT applied)

Autoglym have just launched a new polish.
I think its called "Ultra Deep Shine" especially for dark coloured cars.
Havent tried it yet..
Its about time they did something cos Meguires are wiping the floor with them!
