HOW THE FUCK DO YOU TURN OFF THE TRACTION CONTROL?!?!?!

I got a 655bhp R32GTR and its understeering like a beeeatch cause of the fookin traction control

Pissed all the Sunday Cup races, but thats only cause i got 6 times the power I gotta slow down to about 30mph to get round the corners

And now ive looked around there sooo many cool cars, neeed more cash

Quality graphics too

Here we go again, just as GTA SA let's make this one another 10 pager Let's see how long beofre it's moved to the computer section Steve u coont how u get that car? I went for a second hand R32, loaded it with 90K's worth of mines tuning parts and its only 350bhp T/C would be nice if it can be turned off if it is on?

 

Bought a 90 R32GTR in a nasty shade of Magenta for 15k, spent the rest on tuning- Stg5 Turbo, Race intercooler, Race Exhaust, Chip, stripped out, carbon prop, etc all came within that 100k, its 655bhp.

How the fuck you end up with 350?! Sure you bought the right car?

Traction control is on, thats why its handling like a understeering piece of shit

You can turn it of (its that flashing triangle on the bottom left when cornering) but cant work out how

 

I saw that one and thought na, its 4WD, so opted for the GTS-T Type M 89 R32 as it was FR anyway, ive loaded it with stuff race cooler, ported, polished, lightend the lot, only stage 2 turbo tho so far. Hmmm, maybe i should have gone for the GTR

 

is it not in the options for setting up the cars lik in the last game??

 

You done the directors mode yet? Pretty fun, just watch the car go round and tell it what to do to win

 

isnt it right at the start under options? before you go into sim mode. Old one was like that.

 

I can't wait to pick it up at 9am tomorrow. I just hope my local Game has enough copies....

A R32GTST is 2litre! RB20 engine 210bhp as std.

R33 GTSTs are 2.5 turbo

GTRs are 2.6 and 4WD

 

Doesn't seem to be....

Best I can find is before race, Settings, Driving Aids, TCS Controller. Set it to 0 ?

FOUND IT!!!

In the settings before a race, press right, there loads more.

3 settings for stability, understeer, oversteer and general traction controll- Currently set 10-10-5.

Im gonna set em all to 0 and see how i get on.

Also jus bought a big old carbon GT wing for the mota, gonna put up the downforce on that (as im hitting the limiter in 5th on most straights anyhow its so fast ) see if that helps

Aaah righty.

Once all driver-aids are off the car is all over the shop, oversteer bigstyle BUT it does handle properly

Got my big old carbon rear wing fitted and set that and the std adj front splitter to max downforce, and lo-and behold the car handles pretty mint, enough to lap Audi S3s n S4s within 4 laps on a really windy track with no straights anyhow

One thing, WATCH THE SPEEDO, your prob crashing so much as your going far faster than you realise, and you cant take hairpins at 125mph like i was trying at first

And i wont get fed up, lots of cars to modify and piss about with, its not the races etc im that fussed about, i just like fucking with cars, making them go faster n handle better

I love this game, no work for me tomorrow, fuck that

Aaaah lovely, can still hit nearly 170mph before having to brake down the maion straight at Suzuka even with full front downforce and full rear with the biggest spoiler ever

EVO6s seem to handle well, hardest car so far that ive had to keep up with on the corners, but i think i was put off by its flames all the time

I need some races that make big bucks tho, doing the 4wd races at mo and they only paying out 1500 a win, hope the car i win is worth some dollar...

The huuuge wing i fitted looks mint (was a choice of about 6 styles), but also seems to have sorted the handling too

 

So it seems, you can fit roll cgaes and all sorts of new shit, nos too

Another helpful tip going on from what Steve said about going to fast in to corners, look at your "suggested" gear for each corner, handy that

no damage tyre smoke etc is a bit better tho, and exhust flames, and the graphics are unbelivable

Just did a race, El Capitan was the track, FUCK ME the graphics are amazing
Track is mint too, like a mini nurburgring, was against a 205 T16 Get seriously airborne on a couple of bits

 

im just playing with a 425bhp 350z not that quick but god fun. got to agree though...the traction settings are wank far to much grip all now set to 0
