My Skyline is so damn unstable it's untrue. I need the full suspension kit still and need to find my settings for the ASM cause if I brake hard and touch a spot of grass I spin like a mofo!

Rawli, what Skyline did u buy? My GTR is currently only just under 400 and I am just managing 1st / 2nd place on the extreme races / jap races, but it is fookign hard, one spin and I loose the race

Well can someone remind me which races i won the Toyota Rally Raid Jeep (was one of the tarmac rallys) and the Nissan Fairlady LeMans Concept please?
Then i can sell em for the 400,000 or so each they worth n just win em back again if i ever need em, ch ching
I dont know why people think Skylines unstable, what you using? I did say R32GTR, not 33 and 34, and mine was stable even without suspension n slicks, infact they were the LAST two mods i did to the thing!
I tell you what ive been using thats impressive, a old shape Sti2 scooby. Cost me 10k, black, and even on normal sports tyres and standard boost (but all the other bolt ons, only 340bhp) it handles fucking ace, runs rings around the faster cars, but i have been working my magic on the susp etc etc tho.

Well after reading how great the R32 GTR was I thought I must be missing out on summot steve 
So I went and bought 1 R32 GTR N1, got it upto 600+ bhp, and all I can say is it's shite.

The Evo 6 TME is sooooo much better, it handles unlike the R32 and can get almost as much power from it for less cash.
Im quite happy buying an M3 csl, tho then winning the M3 races and gettin a M3 GTR free each time, done 1 up as much as poss and sold 3 or 4 of them soo far

I didnt say an N1, i said a cheapo 10 grand one Ive got a EVO5 on here now and tho its a bit more nimble feeling (as is the scooby), the GTR can corner at higher speeds and can pull a much higher top speed on the straights (as its 740bhp! ), so overall faster. Its setup that makes a car good or not tho, 2 cars with smae mods but different setup handle totally different.

u need to look a bit closer, lolYou can rewin cars over and over unless it tells you otherwise (on licence tests if you win something it normally says you will only get this car once, or summot like that)
As for which races m8 I have no idea, I haven't done that many as I keep doing the same ones lol to get big money to mod as many cars as I can

Think steve means a boggo GTR at 10K, i assume an N1 is a special edition or summit (nismo1?)? they usually aint as tuneable on GT, like a nismo u'l maybe only get 600bhp out it etc an a GTR 1000. . well ont he previous GT games

anyone playin with fwd still?
ive not been in the skyline first, made a few quid and spent it on the civic, i hated the way it handled before, and even when turboed u had to rev it to the sun for it to get going
put a flywheel on it, LSD and the coilovers, handles soooo much better now and is quite fun to drive now

N1 was the basic homologation special one for GrpN racing, and no, i dont think its as tuneable as the base model on GT4, deffo wasnt on earlier versions.
Ive just bought a FocusRS for some reason and wasted a fortune tuning it up and its a crock of shit, i dont even know why i did it as ive no use for it

Steve, what settings should I run for the oversteer and understeer on the active stability manager? I do find the R33 extremely unstable at haigh speeds. It's verry twitching and if I even sniff a bit of grass when I'm braking it spins like a catherine wheel.
It's also very very twitchy when I break at speed.

I have em set on zero.
But you could try 1/4 if zero is too harsh for you, they set on half as std arnt they?
Might be better off setting them to zero and putting traction control to 1/4 or something.
Never tried the R33 so cant totaly comment really, never had a prob with my cars

Hmm i started with them on 10 each.... forget what I have them on now tho, I've called it a night. Will bang them on zero tomorrow and give it a blast round the ring, see how it feels.

Get the caterham and supercharge it + race pipe, it sounds the bollox and is a tad fast, bit too fast! had to take the blower off for tackling the ring as it wouldnt stay on the ground also the NOS on it makes it go daft in 4th sounds awesome
Just doing some shit slow races with some dodgy mazda i won from finishing one of the licences with all silvers, 1300cc 150bhp standard
now 169 handles ok aswell, gets me 6 points if i win in the slow races as its quite evenly matched with all the other shite, if you want the cars to handle proper your better off having all the ASM's set to 0 and the TCS on 1 i find it helps, might get a bit twitchy but its soooo much faster round the track

You know that little 1 seater black thing you win, looks like some sort of prototype car, you can;t sell it for shit,. and its about 266BHP. What can you use it for? I can't seem to enter it for much It looks like it might handle well and sounds like it has a bit of grunt for the weight

7min flat round the ring in the 350Z race car in arcade mode so far! 15secs ahead of 2nd place NSX race car, including a big off!

whats the best way to play this game..
Done Liscences B and A.. But due to lack of funds only have an EVO II running 280bhp
The only race that is worth me competing in, as the others are too quick is the Sunday League one.. but, only make a few quid off of it, and im hardly going to be able to afoord a decent car any time soon..
So any tips please>

a 630bhp Ford Mustang SVT 2000 version. Bloody hell its hard to keep it straight.

where do you have to go in the game to do the 1/4 miles and were can you adjust the tcs etc settings?
