Default V5 question?

Hey folks my ford Orion docs have been lost for ages and I'm wondering if I send the dvl a a letter will they send me new ones without forking out any dosh? I'm the registered keeper btw! Cheers

They charge for replacement docs and have done for a while now. Hardly worth introducing that bad publicity if all it takes is a nice letter.

As suggested above, maybe a letter asking why you haven't had it back after notifying a change of address/colour/engine is a better bet?
