Default Tdci High rev cut out

Evning chaps, my 03' 115ps Tdci has started going into limp mode when you boot it hard in low gears (upto 3rd) It seems fine if you apply the throttle slowly, but when you boot it then the engine manegment lights flash and it drops down in power, does this sound like over boost and if it is where or what do I check? It had a new turbo 18 months ago so I am assuming it's not that, any help would be much appreciated.

Get the fault codes read. Could be the IMV, or the fuel filter if you're lucky, or the pump if you're not.

Until you get the codes read you're pissing in the wind!

Low flow could be the IMV (inlet metering valve), or the Fuel Pressure Regulator. Or the pump itself.
