A friend of mine has a 1.8 Zetec mk2 fez he's looking at fitting twin 40 carbs..
My question is it going to be worth it?
Will he see much improvement in power?
And will it be cost effective as apposed to camming his 1.8
Ect.
Or would there be a more suitable route to go down
Cheers Adz

personally i would chuck in an extra £100 and fit a used 2.0 zetec first then put the carbs on that
assuming he fit it himself that is

Will make a massive smile factor when it comes to response and noise!
Dont expect to be doing 200hp!! But yes will definatly make a big improvment to performance,
I use to have a mk3 escort with an st170 engine,
That was running gsxr throttle boddies with dta managment,
Revving to 8.5k it was a but of a beast!
