Default Stack speed pulse generator.

Looking for inspration on where/how to fit my speed pulse generator/sensor, any one fitted one.

This is being fitted in my mk2 cortina, T5 box 2wd front hubs.

I did read about somone doing a adaptor that fitts into the t5 speedo drive hole but havent found anything my self.

You can buy adaptors for speedo cables, Demon tweeks etc sell them.

Or you could fit hook up a toothed trigger off a front wheel or something and a hall sensor.

as far as i can make out mine runs of an abs sensor in the r33.

i mounted mine on the alloy bracket for the front brake calliper so it read off the back of the 4 hub studs

you could probably knock something up if you on std calliers and clamp it behind the calliper bolts

You'll need to check whether the Stack can handle a VR signal as opposed to a digital signal.

Not all ABS triggers will be suitable.

if it's anything like my stack speedo, you only have to drive 2 miles to calibrate and it works out how many pulses relate to speeds. you do need to drive around 40mph though to keep it accurate though, but is within 0.5mph at 70mph, so pretty good indeed.

depends how new the dash is to do that and it has to be a digital signal will wrk with as little as 2 pickups just bond or tack some m6 nuts to the rear of the disk or something
