who's sierra was on the x factor last night?
apparently the whole internet is on about a sierra that appeasred on the x factor last night, just goes to proove that they will do anything to up the viewing figures 
who saw it then?

looks like a 92 spec sierra gls with them wheels on it although they were also available on other motors as an option
although the colour coded bumpers and discs on the rear would also make it a possible xr4x4 i wouldn't want to say for certain until i had a close up of the rear bumper

all the 90 spec dohc cars came with rear discs in uk spec, before that it was only cars fitted with abs that had discs and the V6 cars
the colour coded bumpers came in on all cars in the 92 facelift
those alloys were available on a few different models but were standard on the 92 spec gls and later some of the chassuers (but they were the run out models and even the replacement for the gls, the gt, only came with drums on the rear even though they were fitted with the dohc engine)
if you narrow down the bits on the car to what was fitted then the most likely outcome is that it is either a 92 spec gls with all the bits removed other than the running gear or a 90 onwards xr4x4 (it's also possible it's either a ghia or a glx but they were less likely to be available in black) and if it's going to be either a gls or an xr4x4 then the front springs on the 4wd cars are stronger due to the extra weight and so would lift the front up higher with no engine/drivetrain in the front of the car
so it's most likely to be a 92 spec gls based on the available images

and just to add, the calipers on the rear are the same as the 2wd cossie on all sierras/granadas (other than the granada/scoprio estates which used vented rear discs and the wider 4wd cos calipers and the 24V granada/scorpio which used the same calipers as the 4wd cossie front and rear)
