ok thats cool, I'll be honest and I'm just trying to prove a point as there is internet user that is trying to tell me that all his cosworths have had 4 pots and 350mm discs and he told me it just takes some correct spacing to get it right, the bloke is clearly a liar but wont have it and I just wanted to make sure I wasn't opening my mouth too soon,
I supppose my question for my own benefit is what size brakes should I fit on my mk2 escort under what I think will end up being MO's as I just have a thing for them, anything will probably be better than the princess 4 pots it has at the mo, the rear disc conversion alone I know will make a huge difference. I've been using a set of Reyland 4 pots and 305mm discs on my vauxhall nova which are just mental but I'm running 16" MO's which are really a bit big for my escort, I've seen Martins metro with the same conversion on 15's but I know he had to make a few alterations to make them fit correctly and they are still a little tight to say the least lol
sorry for starting a thread just to prove a point but I dont understand the point in saying something that is clearly untrue, the brakes are only the start of the amount of possible lies he has come out with and I'm not giving someone sympathy for his bad luck when he is just looking for attention.

they have never let me down or my mate who has them now, I want to buy them back for mine so I know I wont have the brake problem again on the track, but really I've had enough of spending money on novas and I just want to see my escort done, but its gonna take time to do and the nova is a very cheap car to abuse on the track so its a cheap get me by for now.
The brakes on your 3 door must be mental, bet you cant cook them in a hurry, well maybe you can with 600bhp

You can't cook them at all, but you can lock them very easily
Prefer the Metro brakes to be honest!
Martin has more of those brake sets if you need some more.

Nice one, As there not now being used I'll probably buy them back, they need new discs and pads though (suprisingly) lol so I'll have to call him to sort some out b4 the next track day
