I've had mine about 6 months now and can't fault it bud I upgraded from the ethos and haven't looked back I run my own garage and there's nothing I haven't come across I can't use it for really it programmes most modules / injectors etc usual obd stuff.the live data tracking and functional test with parameters is all easy to use and understand.i borrowed a verdict for a couple of weeks and apart from the multimeter with built in oscillope it was useless in my opinion it was so slow and there was no further programming capabilities than my ultra!! but that's just my opinion!!! There will be loads that will disagree or even agree lol!! But then again like anything it depends on what you are using it for really ??

Well, the garage round the corner from me that let me use their Solus Ultra says that it does everything that their Launch does, but is just dearer. The user interface on the Solus Ultra though is just so easy to use. From plugging in to fault display on the ABS system on a Rover 75 took less than 20 seconds. The garage honestly cannot make up their minds which way to go it is that hard, although, having used them both, I would take the Solus over the Launch if it was not down to price.

I've used the ultra and think its good, also heard good reviews for the di gun but never tried useing one, also the di gun is £1000 cheaper than the ultra

im Bosch through and through now,

but if i didnt have a £10-£15k machine it`d be the Solus ultra over the launch any day of the week.

although id save hard for a verus PRO,

alternativley, cheap £20 scanner, Autodata or AllData, and a Picoscope

use them all properly and you will never have a problem diagnosing anything

just beause a scantool is expensive, its not a magic wand

Agree with everything Sean says!

Lauch I have seen used several times and had demo'd at least 3 times from memory and have never ever been impressed by it. Used to own a Solus before the Pro and Ultra and found it to be OK as an entry level diagnostic device but irritating with the personality keys. The 'simple' yes/no interface made it complex and slow to use. We trialled and demo'd loads and settled on the KTS670 Bosch as the information on there is fantastic and it's abilities are close to dealer level on a lot of vehicles.
