Ive always done well with the AA, always send their own decent recovery people, rather than sending out random goons from local recovery cowboys like most the others do...

Greenflag is cheaper and better in my opinion, use local garages, average call out of 40 mins and a tenner back if they dont get there within an hour.
you pays your money......................

Before you decide, check out Norwich Union - I think they are associated with RAC (RAC van comes out.. ) but cheaper.
The time I was involved with a breakdown the service was good.

I would say AA as i have been with them since 1989 and never yet had 1 single problem with them , i call them out every year for something or other , one year i called them out 6 times and no extra cost was put on my premium .

Im with the RAC now, because its the person thats covered not the car a
result if youve got more than one car In the past ive been with Green
flag, and found them to be pretty good, never took longer than 35 min
before recovery arrived.

AA is person not the car too.

Think your allowed 7 call outs a year, youl be lucky, even in my super unreliable 3door Cossie i only managed 6 a year

I dont like the others as ive been recovered in mates cars a lot with other companys and more often than not (well all time with GreenFlag) you get a local recovery pikey gyppo rather than someone decent, wheras with the AA your 99% of the time get a proper AA man and they always been good at what they do in my experience.
