I know on my focus they drilled a hole near the passenger footwell and used a firewall grommet tho it was for zero gauge wire.

yeah drilling is also an option, the wire is heavily insulated so shouldn't be a problem...just dont know where exactly to drill lol

On the MK1 focus's, you used to be able to go towards the end of the head lamp, then around the washer bottle, user the flap at the bottom of the wing, through the plastic gromit (near the hinges there's a plastic unused gromit) and your in.

Is there anything similar?

You must use a grommet in the hole you drill otherwise it will end in a very big melted mess and could cause serious injury.

Do it once do it right
