Default whats this diff?

just got this today bought it as standard diff opened it up to give ut a clean out etc and found this
only problem is i have no idea what it is or what oil to use

Looks like a quaife but not sure?

That's a Quaife ATB unless I'm very mistaken and they use the same oil as a std diff

You have done well if you paid Ł150 ish for it my best advice would be to clean it up and sell it for approx Ł1k ish and buy a gripper diff !

oh right fair enough will stick it in for now and take it easy then as that was the plan anyway need to to do a front seal but at least its movable with it fitted and i can change the seal in situ next week some time

Don't mix you're words jay pmsl I still can't work out what part of limited slip diff it was that Quaife did not fully understand when making this pile of shit lol oh yeah it's come back to me now it was all of it !!!

I run the exact same diff in my 500bhp 500 for 4 years and it was perfect

You Quaife haters , lol

Ps,

Matt , Thanks for being honest and letting me know i sent you the wrong diff , nice to see there are some decent folk left

mate of mine has an m.a.d 450ish set up on a t38 and he broke his atb 4 times lol I think it's in the bin now!

My atb works well in my fiesta but I only have 180 horses at the moment and will never put more than about 230 through it!

One of my friends in the city had a supercharged V8 m5 engined beast that made more than 800 bhp he had a Quaife diff that was fine BUT it was made to order and he had to provide max power and torque figures!
