Default Another question ..... sorry! amal valve or boost controller

As the question states which one is best for the job ......... benifits of both and downsides of both ..... also how the hell does an amal valve work???

As it would seem to own a cossie understanding them is a must!!!!!

Boost controller - But an AMAL valve properly set up is just as good.

A boost controller does allow you to adjust in car though.

The golden rule, only run as much boost as your engine can handle.

Its all too easy to run 1 more psi and watch the pistons melt !

how much are boost controllers, as i think i need one

as it's is probably better than my bleed valve route

how do you know what the car can handle??? am i right in thinking t34 on greens, due to fueling and stuff 350bhp is max and about 23psi??????????

my old stage 3 chip from stu had a maximum of 24psi allowed, but i run 21 all the time.

i'd advise against turning ya boost up, unless it was done on a RR or live map

na mate once set up it doesn't ever get turned up further!!!!!! otherwise will end up in lots of
