We came 2nd in the championship marc, we went into the saturday in a good postion but we had a missfire and we could only manage 4th qually and 4th in final,
We fixed the car that night what turned out to be a coil pack so heading in to sunday with very wet condistions all day we missed out on a win by 4 hundreds of a second so 2nd was the best we could do! So we lost the championship by 10 points...

Pretty shit that really, kinda degrades winning 1st place because you don't get additional points for that position
The problems we faced were silly and Ronnie did so well to get where he did, clawed tooth and nail in really bad conditions. He would have walked it in the dry for sure.
No worries, bigger and better everything for next year.

worked the recovery for the event, shame about the wether for you ron on sunday and simon didnt have much luck either with the foci catching fire then dumping fuel everywhere in the next session. hope next year brings better fortunes for you all
Thanks fellas. Was a frustrating weekend. As said Saturday had a misfire and had to qualify with it missing out on 3rd place by 1 tenth of a second. If I would have got 3rd I would have won the championship :0(
Then Sunday. Was a scary drive!! Terrible conditions and because of my budget I use last years pirellis as my wet tyres. Which are shit!! Also my windscreen misted up. Tried coming in to wipe it clean but by half a lap round it was misted up again so I stayed out. Having to use the side window and markers at the side of the track for braking points turn in points etc.
I couldn't hide my disappointment at the trophy presentations lol

My mate Steve Fitzpatrick won it Ron , every round in his class and the most points over all , drove his m3 to every race and drove it home , in a standard m3 with a silly spoiler and aps , oh and he can drive a bit ! Good luck next year
