Hello mate..

You cant get mahle in .25 oversize so you would have to use cosworth or go .50 on your bore..

thanks danny i just spoke to matt lewis he said same thing

i dont think you can buy the 4wd cosworth .25 piston anymore unless you order a batch

i use to buy them from GGR already done with low comp 7;2;1; and valve cut outs i dont think they have any left

and the cosowrth piston is alot harder alloy and will rattle after a bit in the bore.

a piston as good as a mahale will do

Yes .25 pistons from cosworth are harder to get so you would have to find some one that has some shelved ..

The later pistons dont really suffer from rattle any more..try joe stevens mate he might be able to find you some and imo theyre the best pistons money can buy..

If not just go to .50 mm over size and buy mahle??

I hope your not going 7.2.1 though?

Thanks Dan the blocks been board to .25 I don't really want to bore it to .5 Im just going a touch lower than 8:1

Joe managed to sort me some .25 cosworth racing pistons when he rebuilt my engine

 

yes please if you can and a price 7/8 7/7 7/6 7/5 any of that comp but will need to have the valve cut outs , i might have to have top of the pistons decked to suit block (as the block has been decked to allow for the wrc gasket) i will be able to sort the comp out after

Best thing would be to get some un machined ones so that the deck height can be got then valve pockets done to suit as high as cr as poss..

I will see what i can find for you on monday..
