Whenever anyone comes on this BB with a bit of exitement for there lastest whatever....people are waiting in the wings to shoot you down.

I refer to Cossy Abusers(Thanks Billy ) lastest post among many many others..very chuffed with his lastest toy....but people come on and try to put him down saying his cage is inferior

I'm new to the board - only been on a couple of weeks, it is absolutely superb. The information, stories, comedy, and projects keep me busy reading for hours. Very entertaining.

However, I have noticed several things - and I will touch on 4 of them.

1) The General forum is extremely busy, and unless you seem to be part of the "in crowd" - the post rapidly moves down the page, often unanswered (and I know there has been a post from the moderators about this very topic)

2) Newbie posts are very often met with ridicule - and most probably it is meant in jest, but a new person will not "know" all the different personalities and what is mild ribbing - and what is crtiticism.

3) The usual post of "HI, I'm New!" gets met with enthusiasm by most members - but some resort to "comedy" , "sarcasm"or "hitting on the new piece of a$$" during the very first post. Very off putting for someone who isnt so out going

4) There is definatley a feeling (as from what I can see) of a "click" - and this in itself is off putting to a new person participating in different posts.

In any case, I look forward to reading much more over the coming months

As for me, I am a skin head pikey chav that lives in Hayes I have a wardrobe that consists of fake Burberry, every type of white trainers, striped bottoms and big-logo T-shirt you can dream of. I shop at Matalan.

i agree mate, i only know about nthe click thougha as a few mates have joined and dont seem to wanna get involved as it seems estblished and the feel they lack the history and knowlage of the site and also tbh we are blinkered on here at times ( and im quite bad at it too )

any new ideas does get looked at with or opinion and unless the big guys like the plan they got told it dont work ( though speaker wire even though does work, really is a bad thing, those that seen it will know what i mean )

im trying to change my views BUT tbh i will always talk to other members first than others as there the guys ive met

 

You mean speaker wire wont work as a substitute for an HT lead

That really sucks, I had bought a job lot hoping to go into business saving people money - becoming an official trader

I also thought I might become an engine tuner - I have my trusty old Sinclair ZX80 that is just begging to be used as a mapper

 

i was thinking along the lines of a live fuel pump feed
