If you're not feeling the love get rid, it is only a car at the end of the day. I have been driving my escos all morning and feel exactly the same and quite fancy something a bit newer now and also something I can abuse a little more. I will be putting up for sale in the next week or so.

I wish you the best of luck either way.

So many people selling, breaking their RS cars. They are very old cars now & not that great to drive compared to newer cars so im not surprised.

Matt, I was the same with the 4i but its still in the garage.

I'm sure you could see a easy 18k for the car.

I don't agree with that one little bit! More often than not they aren't nice to drive because of mods carried out, a properly built and modded Sierra can be a joy to drive, my 500 certinally is!

Fair play Matt, atleast you're 100% sure, you'll get good money for it i'm sure Matt, mine fetched 16 and tbh yours is cleaner than mine was on the underside etc..

Put it on Pistonheads Matt, it's a wider scale to sell on there..

I'd suggest not jumping in and selling it straight away.

take some time and think about it, once its gone you will never get it back.

you may want to do other stuff in life, if you can do it without selling do it, a car in the condition yours is in wont lose any money if in a few months you still fell the same then do it.

Matt when we are all at the BTCC next month you can park it on the front row with a nice little for sale sign in the window, as that event will be full of petrolheads

For a few weeks James yes, of course, it was a lovely car, but i wanted something i coud abuse more and not get paranoid etc, PLUS the offer was great too.

I'll have another oneday mate BUT not for along time as the Evo ticks all the boxes James, plus i've just spent 10grand on it..

Lol, if only the misses thought i were a legend James...

Yep. 600bhp MAD Engine, Clutch, Cooler,Vi-pec Cams, Turbo, Brakes, list's endless..

We've only fitted an 80sereis Turbo at the min though so it'll only be about 420bhp and similar torque, i'll get the TT S205 in a few months to get to around 530-550bhp when funds allow..

Matt, sorry for spamming your thread bud...

The strangest thing is how would I go about putting a price on it...and what could I replace it with... I really fancy buying a modern diesel car one that I can use everyday and take up scuba diving.

I'm really in a pickle on what to as I'm feeling no love for it anymore.

Sell it and buy my Sapphire

If the decision is made then fair play, i'd regret it though.

I've not driven my cossie for over a year now and i'm not likely to soon either but i know that if i got rid i'd regret it without a doubt and it's not really hurting me to have it sat there.

On the other hand it should sell no problem as its a lovely car

Mat on a serious note

Before you sell it you have to get it plastered in mud
I mean everywhere

Just to see how long it will take to clean

You all need to be young again.

Im 21 and having bought my 3 door around 9 month ago I get teh feeling I think you lads used to get a long time ago. Mines only a t35.55 on blacks live mapped my Tony but I swear I grin from ear to ear.

Im scared of what it will be like when that feeling disappears

I'm 26 and i've had mine 6 years and I don't think that feeling ever totally dissappears. The only thing that changed for me is realising there are other hobbies out there too, meaning that cars take a bit of a back seat.

Glad to hear that lads.

You dont need to kill a 3 door everywhere. I get the same feeling pottering around as I do kicking its teeth in. There is something about them, but I suppose I knew that already, hence why ive fancied them since I properly knew what a car was.

I know somethings cannot be avoided, but I dont intend spending that kind of money on it.

Also, unlike alot, I use mine often. ocassionally through the week and always on a weekend. Granted though, it wont be used from about november to march.
