Got a feeling it would be beyond my budget lol, plus its too clean for what I want, it got to the stage where I didn't want to use mine so if and when I have another cossie I want it to be nice but useable lol.

if you sell whatever you replace it with will most likely lose money. I thought about selling my escos last year and garaging the frs and getting a 330 d or alpina d3 but just couldnt bring myself to do it.

Matt, your car looks great.
After all the work and money spent on it, do you really want to sell it?
Do you need the money or can you afford to keep it stored in the garage?
If not keep it til next year and enjoy again

keep it Matt, in years to come if not months you will regret it, sure a modern diesel car is nice/comfortably/economical but will lose money like a lead balloon and when you go looking for another cosworth (which you will) you will have to go through the bufty drama all over again as once you have had a bufty car nothing else will do....

I think the problem is most owners go too far, and ruin the reliability & ride, and end up hating the car. The trouble with Cosworths is that there is no end to the power available if you have the budget!

Very true, its so easy to get sucked in to the " it needs thus and it needs that" syndrome and before you know it you've got a car that you don't want to use anymore cos it owes you so much lol, I know that feeling well
